Starting with a nudge from his wife that led to 22 years of experience, Jose developed his mortgage skills and a passion for helping people. As a branch manager, Jose handles everything from FHA to conventional mortgages, focusing on renovation loans. Before joining Nations Lending, he spent seven and a half years as a Senior VP of Residential Lending. Jose, his wife of 18 years, and their two children call New Jersey their home. When he’s isn’t helping clients, Jose’s with his family watching home movies, making dinner, or fishing, a favorite Canales pastime.

Eric started in the mortgage industry in 2018 but was no stranger to it. His father, a 30-year industry veteran, ingrained in Eric what it takes to succeed. He built an arsenal of service-focused skills during 14 years of leading large teams for Fortune 50 retail companies. After stepping into real estate investing and house flipping, Eric fell in love with the industry. He realized he could bring his expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to a career helping borrowers. Eric focuses on making his clients feel comfortable and educating them through the entire home financing process.
