Branch Managers, thank you very much for participating in the Creators Club and taking advantage of what it can offer you and your branch.

You are embarking on the first steps of a program that will give you a consistent and engaging social media presence, as well as content ideas for the future.

Before we get started on this new endeavor, know that the Creators Club is an organic project that will evolve as we all go along together. The best way to learn is by doing, and we are all in this together!

You were hand selected to be the first exclusive class of the Creators Club, and we look forward to working together. But for now, shhhhhhhhh! 🤐 Let’s keep the Creators Club just between us while the program gets off the ground.

Get Social Before the Competition

• Engaging, informative, appealing content on social brings greater brand awareness and ultimately, more business.
• Currently, this is an untapped source with vast potential for the mortgage industry and Nations Lending.

Generate Trust and Credibility with prospective customers

• When customers are looking for a company to do business with, they check their digital footprint.
• By having an active and engaging social media presence, customers are more likely to seek out your business and what you have to offer.

Benefit the Branch by making your team more social media conscious

• The Creators Club will benefit your branch at a whole by getting everyone to think social. The homework assignments, how-to guides, and meetings can be utilized by everyone on your team.
• You won’t need to take time out of your schedule to train your employees, the marketing team does it all for you!

Designate a creator

• Who is the social media whiz in your office? Who is the one that always knows what’s trending online? Creators need to be comfortable with social media, especially Facebook. This is where all the content will be posted when it is completed.
• Make sure that your creator isn’t camera shy. They won’t always be on the camera, but they need to be comfortable with taking pictures, recording video and, at times, being the subject of those videos.

Your Creator needs to dedicate 1.5 hours every week to the Creators Club

• At least one hour a week must be allocated to work on the assigned content, taking photos, videos, engaging on social media, etc. There will be two assignments a month.
• One on one meetings with Austyn Roney should be expected to take at least 30 minutes a week. He will assign the tasks, assist your creator in the creative process, and be their guide throughout the Creators Club program. Meetings may be shorter but expect at least 30 minutes form your creator.

Members of the Creators Club only need to provide unedited photos and videos

• We want to make the Creators Club process as seamless as possible. The Creator only needs to worry about providing the requested content.
• The Marketing Team will edit, add graphics, and special effects.

Creators need to add as many friends from the company on their personal Facebook account and be active on Facebook

• This buy-in is critical. If your first choice for Creator isn’t comfortable friending a large amount of work colleagues, choose someone else. They should start by friending everyone in the Shelter group.
• This will give us a good start on our content network. All these new work Facebook friends will give your content a boost in Likes and Shares.
• The Creators Club members must like, share, and comment on every post made by the club!

These requirements may change as the program goes forward.

You are the Administrator

• Ensure your creator is submitting their Creators Club assignments on time and that they are meeting with the marketing team on a regular basis.

You are NOT the Creator

• You are not expected to direct the creators on HOW to perform their duties, you just need to make sure that they do them, the Marketing Team will take care of the rest.
• You WILL be expected to appear in some or most of the videos, though. After all, you’re the face of the business. Oftentimes, you’ll be the STAR.
• We hope to take as little of your valuable time as possible. Contact Austyn Roney in Marketing if you have any concerns.

Promote Responsibility

• We are sending your Creator a deluxe gift set of equipment to carry out their Creators Club duties. We don’t have replacement equipment on hand if anything breaks.

Give feedback to your Creators posts

• Your feedback validates the initiative. By liking, commenting, and sharing your creator’s work you are being supportive of your creator, showing them their hard work is appreciated.

Your role in the Creators Club will be defined by how engaged you want to be with it. You can always do more, like assisting your Creator in generating content or arranging meetings for interviews or gathering team members to participate. The more on board everyone is, the more genuine the content will be. That being said, we don’t want to be a drain on your time. Your Creator will take the reins.

The Creators Club would not be possible without your support and belief in our program. We believe content at the grassroots level – the branch level – is far more authentic than top-down, corporate content, which we will continue to produce for you.

Our doors are always open and you can feel free to send any thoughts or questions to Austyn Roney, one of our Digital and Social Media Analysts, at austyn.roney@nationslending.com or through Microsoft Teams!

Sincerely,
Your Marketing Team
